Turf Solutions Group's Design and Planning Assistance helps Attract Investors to Proposed Baseball Training Complex in Charlotte, North Carolina

CHARLOTTE, NC. (April 12, 2010) - Turf Solutions Group was chosen to provide architectural design and financial planning services for Carolinas Baseball Center, a 100-acre baseball training complex being developed by Baseball Holdings LLC. When constructed, the venue will include 12 to 20 synthetic fields, three dorms, a dining facility and an indoor practice area of 30,000 square feet. Jeff Schaefer, Senior VP/ Baseball Operations at Carolinas Baseball Center and a major leaguer who played for the Mariners, White Sox and Oakland A's in the 1980s and 1990s, describes this dynamic facility as a "show park" for nurturing developing baseball talent.

Schaefer believes this exciting facility will attract a high level of young talent. This talent will be selected nationwide bringing together future major league hopefuls. Recruitment age will begin at 14 years through to college age students. Former minor and major league coaches and players will instruct the young players.

Schaefer stresses that working with TSG has been an extremely valuable collaboration.  He comments that from the very beginning Baseball Holdings LLC's relationship with TSG functioned as if they were "working with a partner." Schaefer stated that, "Even from the initial stages of developing the project, TSG support was key. The great quality of the renderings that TSG had prepared of the complex's design worked successfully in capturing potential investor interest in the concept, propelling the project forward." In addition, TSG developed financial projections and investor presentations to assist Baseball Holdings in communicating this project to potential investors.
